Today was our first full day exploring the city. We walked to Buckingham Palace, and enjoyed seeing the changing of the guards. It was amazing seeing it in person along with hundreds of other spectators.
We strolled up The Mall to Trafalgar Square.
Lauren was our food & pub finder, and she did a fantastic job finding places. Our lunch spot was Mr. Toad’s Pub which was decorated for the holidays and had special holiday menu featuring mulled wine, our new favorite drink. Elsie was fascinated with the old-fashioned restrooms.
After lunch, we walked around Leicester Square, the Seven Dials and Chinatown.
