In the early morning hours we were picked up and driven to the Wilson Airport, where we boarded our tiny plane (seats for only 10) and flew 40 minutes to Amboseli National Park.

We were picked up by our game guide for the next 4 days, Mwangi. He’s a local who has been doing a game guide for 15 years. We did our first game drive while driving to our camp and saw more animals then we could’ve imagined. This national park has marshes and dry spaces making it a home to a vast amount of animals.

Several hours later We made it to Elerai Camp, our home for 4 nights. We had lunch, took a nap and then went out for a few more hours with Mwangi.
