We made it to Cusco on Wednesday afternoon. BEAUTIFUL CITY! We are loving it here, except for the ‘soroche’ (aka altitude sickness) we have had the last few days. Cusco’s elevation is 11,200 ft. above sea level, and we’ve had some shortness of breath, mild headaches the last 2 days and felt a bit woozy the first night we got here. Hence why I have not posted the last few days. Yesterday, we took it easy and just walked around the city center. The Plaza de Armas here has beautiful churches, and gorgeous buildings.

We enjoyed lunch at a quaint little cafe overlooking the city center. It was breathtaking.
