A short 45 minute flight from Athens is the picturesque and most ‘Instagrammed’ island of Greece – SANTORINI. We will be here for 4 nights and staying at the Kalisiti Hotel & Suites, located in the capitol Fira and walking distance to the main square.
Our first night we admired the views and walked along the narrow pathways along the rim. It’s very windy and 10-15 degrees cooler then Athens.
Our aunty Rina made it to Greece and was able to join us for the remainder of our trip, during our first full day in Santorini. We walked around (with 6000+ cruise passengers), shopped and were mesmerized by the bluest of sky and water. The food here consists of more seafood, and different types of salads. They also have several beer breweries on the island, which I am enjoying sampling.
