Our last night in Athens we took a cooking class which took place at a roof top restaurant close to our hotel. Our group was us, two couples from the US and a mother and her three daughters from South Africa. Our instructor was a young Greek chef named Stam.

Our menu was – Spanokopita, Moussaka, Tzatziki, Farmer’s Salad and a citrus custard dessert. We learned a lot about Greek cuisine, what makes Feta FETA and how to make phyllo dough. It was super informative and we all had a lot of fun learning new techniques.

When we finished our class, we went to the restaurant next door and enjoyed our creations. We ate together as a group, made new friends and watched the our final Athenian sunset with the Acropolis in the background.
