Our day began with the 405 closed in Huntington Beach, adding an extra ten minutes to our drive up to LAX. Once we made it to our terminal, with our vaccine cards and two negative COVID tests, we found out that Peru required an extra health advisory form. We were at the counter for 20 minutes attempting to fill but it had so many glitches. Ravi finally got to the final page and was just about to read the confirmation code to our ticket agent, when his page refreshed. At this point we had one hour to get to our gate, and she took his word for it and said toy finish completing it prior to our second flight from Atlanta. We rushed to our gate, and made it on board.

We decided to have Lauren fill out the forms for us, since we were having so many problems, and email us the confirmation numbers. Whine we landed in Atlanta, Lauren had completed the forms for us and sent them to us. Thank you Lauren !!!

Our flight to Lima was great. We were surprised how full our flight was, but it felt good being able to travel again.

Once we landed, we were told we needed to all wear 2 face masks in the airport. After going through immigration, exchanging some dollars to soles, and finding our driver outside the airport, we finally made it to our hotel at 10 pm central time.

We will be here in the Miraflores area for 6 nights. We are excited to get some much needed sleep tonight and begin exploring tomorrow.

Good night everyone from Peru !!!
