When you think of Washington DC, you know that there are so many museums and places to visit we narrowed it down to the most iconic spots today.
We started our morning strolling past the Supreme Court, the Capitol and the Treasury Dept.
Then we walked to the National Gallery where we took in the artwork the beautiful gardens. Then the Smithsonian.
Our final stop was teh National Archives, where we saw the Bill or Rights, the Constitution and the Emancipation Proclamation. Along with so many other national treasures.
We ended our day with dinner at a lovely restaurant and walking The Mall at night to see the monuments lit up. It was a beautiful weekend getaway spent with Lauren and touring a city I had always wanted to.
