On Thursday, we made it to our next destination, Aix-en-Provence, located in the South of France. It’s a very eclectic city, filled with lots of restaurants, shops, tourists, locals and students. We are staying at a hotel, center to the old town and all the hustle and bustle.
On Friday, Ravi needed to do some work in the morning, so I spent mine walking around and getting lost. All I needed to do was look for a large group of tourists and I knew I was near something important. I first stumbled upon this huge church.
Then I walked to the center of the old square and enjoyed the many shops and people watching. I met Ravi for lunch at an Irish pub, and had tacos, chips and guacamole for lunch (we both wanted something more than wine and French food).
We did some more walking, and enjoyed the many sights. We also found one street which had 3 Irish pubs, several Chinese and Japanese restaurants, a Cuban restaurant, 2 Spanish restaurant and an African restaurant. All next door to one another. And they all had customers. We did up going to a nice French restaurant (I know French food again). Ravi had rabbit, I had tuna. It was a perfect quaint establishment with great service and amazing food.
